Concept of Fermentation

Fermentation

Fermentation in food processing is the conversion of carbohydrates to alcohols and carbon dioxide or organic acids using yeasts, bacteria, or a combination thereof, under anaerobic conditions. (Wikipedia)

Fermentation is a unique process that breaks down good and bad substances in foods. Fermented foods contain beneficial probiotics, digestive enzymes, and health boosting nutrients.

The Wonders of Korean Fermentation

The Wonders of Korean Fermentation

Our Process

Our proprietary traditional Korean fermentation starts with the finest beneficial herbs. Then we select the perfect timing and temperature to achieve the optimum conditions for the natural breakdown of the internal substances/constituents to occur.

With the precise amount of water, each batch is carefully prepared with great accuracy, patience and diligence-in order for the entire fermentation process to be completed. Average length of time for the entire fermentation process to complete, creating good probiotics in the tea, is approximately 30-35 days.
